Directions to Burke Centre Commons Pool: 5701 Roberts Parkway, Burke VA. 22015

From Chantilly: Take Fairfax County Parkway south to left on Roberts Parkway. At second traffic light before railroad bridge take a right and the CommonsCommunity Center and Pool is the first right.

From Springfield: Take Franconia Springfield Parkway to the Fairfax County Parkway to right on Roberts Parkway. At second traffic light before railroad bridge take a right and the CommonsCommunity Center and Pool is the first right.

From Fairfax: Take Roberts Parkway south from Braddock Road. Turn left at the light immediately after crossing the railroad bridge. The CommonsCommunity Center and Pool is the first right.

CARPOOLING IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED DUE TO VRE CONSTRUCTION

PLEASE DROP OFF YOUR SWIMMERS AT THE DESIGNATED DROP POINT

Parking: There is parking for the All Star Meet at the following four locations. 

1. The VRE train station parking lot is located 100 yards past the pool. There will be approximately 150 parking spaces available at this location. The amount of parking at the VRE parking lot is limited due to the on-going construction of a new parking garage. There will also be a Farmer’s Market going on at the same time as the meet.  Parking attendants will be present to direct traffic. Once the lot fills up, cars will be directed to the other two parking locations. Please adhere to the directions of the parking attendants.

2. Additional parking will be available at the Target Store located at the corner of Roberts Parkway and New Guinea Road: 10301 New Guinea Road, Fairfax, Va.22032. A Fairfax County Connector Shuttle Bus will be running continuously between the pool and Target to transport people. Parking attendants will be present to direct traffic. We are limited to approximately 150 parking spaces at Target. As you enter the main entrance at Target, please turn left and utilize the parking furthest away from the storefront. There will be a tent located in the parking lot that will represent the pick-up/drop-off point for the shuttle bus. For people who wish to walk over the railroad bridge to the pool, the walk is approximately four tenths of a mile. 

3. Additional parking will be available at the Wal-Mart located on the corner of Burke Centre Parkway and Burke Commons Road; 6000 Burke Commons Road, Burke, VA 22015. The Wal-Mart is located approximately one half mile from the pool. Please park behind and to the left of the Wal-Mart storefront. There will be a tent located in the parking lot that will represent the pick-up/drop-off point for the shuttle bus. Please adhere to the parking attendant’s instructions. A Fairfax County Connector Shuttle Bus will be running continuously between the pool and the Wal-Mart to transport people.  

4. The parking lot immediately adjacent to the pool will be ONLY for those with parking passes or handicapped plates. Your team rep has received the parking passes for your team. Each team will receive one parking pass. There will be an area to drop swimmers off near the pool. The area along Premier Court will be utilized for drop off only. No Parking on Premier Court.

There will be a Fairfax County Police Officer directing traffic at the intersection of Roberts Parkway and Premier Court.
