The Cascades Rapids edged Franklin Farm today in our second consecutive tight meet, this one coming down to the final two relays. The score of the meet was 235 to 209.

The meet featured 149 swims, of which 27 were seasonal personal bests, from 55 Frogger swimmers.

Quite a few Froggers got into the act today, led by triple-winners Christina Green and John Shebat. Our double-winners today were Drew Amaral, Stephen Fay, and Brooke Ream, and the single-winners were Laurie Bracaglia, Daniel Fay, Blake Marcey, Ashley Nero, Christopher Piller, Melissa Shebat, Constantin Waldschmidt, and David Hoppe.

There was one team record set today. In the Boys 15-18 200M Medley relay, the team consisting of Nick Ransom, Stephen Fay, Paddy Moynahan, and Zack Sturm swam a time of 2:04.15, bettering the previous mark of 2:04.51 which set in 2003 at Still Pond.

Way to go, Nick, Stephen, Paddy and Zack!

Entry limits for this meet are "2 + IM". This means that...

1. A swimmer may swim **at most** two individual stroke events -- Free, Back, Breast, Fly.
2. Qualified swimmers may add Individual Medley as a 3rd event. New IM'ers should get permission from Coach Kyle or Coach Katie G.

Additionally, per CSL rules, a swimmer who places in the top three in Free, Back, Breast or Fly on Saturday at the Cascades league meet may not swim that **stroke** at this meet.

The sign-up binder for the CNC meet is posted at Still Pond. It will be collected Wednesday, July 8, *immediately* after the end of the last morning practice.
