Today's Time Trials meet took place without a hitch today, with many swimmers braving the cool air and water temperatures to post their first times of 2009. In all, we had 363 swims from 126 swimmers. There were only 30 DQs (8%) which compares very favorably with the first Time Trials meets in 2007 and 2008.
One team record was set today. John Shebat posted a time of 30.07 in the Boys 11-12 50M Freestyle event, eclipsing the previous mark of 30.62 which was set six years ago. Way to go, John!
Thanks go out to the many parents who volunteered at this meet, helping everything run very smoothly.
