Three of the four Division titles were captured this weekend, with one still hanging in the balance.  Franklin Glen ran their record to 4-0, and thereby clinched the Blue Division title, as their Week 1 victory over ManorGate gives them the tiebreaker over the 3-1 Marlins.  In the White Division, 4-0 Fort Myer is ensured of claiming the crown by virtue of their early season wins over Chantilly Highlands and Barrington, who will battle it out this weekend for second place.  And in the Red Division, unbeaten Franklin Farm finally broke a long title drought, capturing the trophy on the strength of their wins over Broadlands and South Riding, who also figure to have a good meet against each other this weekend.

The Gold Division is still up for grabs.  It will be decided this coming Saturday when the Holy Mackerels from AKC visit Sugarland Run in what should be an exciting meet.

In this past weekend's action, homestanding next door neighbors Chase Club and Hayden Village both won the last five relays but came up one relay short in their respective battles with Chinquapin and CountrySide.  And there were a couple a exciting Red Division nailbiters, both of which were much closer the final score, as Cascades nipped the Burke Centre Penguins (14 lead changes, 43 single digit leads) and Franklin Farm barely got by South Riding. (7 lead changes, 32 single digit leads, came down to the Mixed relays)

At yesterday's CSL Relay Carnival there were two repeat Division winners, as Arlington Knights of Columbus and ManorGate lifted their respective Gold Division and Blue Division trophies again.  In the White Division, the Fort Myer Squids hoisted the hardware, and it was the Franklin Farm Froggers narrowly winning the Red Division cup.

There are a significant number of league records to announce, but we're still missing the details on a couple of them.   The plan is to wait until we have those details and post them all at once.
