Except in the Gold Division, it was a great week to be the home team during this 2nd round of CSL dual meets.  In all, ten out of twelve sides were the host-with-the-most (points), including home sweeps in the Red, White, and Blue Divisions.

More league record breakers this week... At Ashburn Village this past Wednesday, CountrySide's Janika Perezous swam to her second record of the season, clocking a time of 1:34.05 in the Girls 8&Under 100M Individual Medley, bettering the 15-year old mark of 1:34.88.

And today at Glen Cove, Emma Merrill of Chase Club zipped to a time of 1:01.35 in the Girls 15-18 100Y Individual Medley, smashing the previous mark of 1:04.05 set in 2005.

Congratulations, Janika and Emma! Way to go!

In week two action, Sequioa Farms continued its barely interrupted run of tight meets dating back to the middle of last season, this time winning over Hayden Village by a scant four points, 223.5 go 219.5. The Stingrays, who have won their two 2011 meets by a combined five points, next face undefeated Franklin Glen in a battle of Blue Division unbeatens.

Undefeateds Chase Club and Arlington Knights of Columbus also face off this coming Saturday for the inside track to the Gold Division title. In the White Division, Fort Myer stands alone at the top, while South Riding and Franklin Farm lead the way in the Red Division.
