To keep their certifications current, CSL officials must attend clinics and pass appropriate tests at least every two years, as described in this detailed recertification document. Annual recertification is recommended.
New CSL officials, in addition to attending the clinic and passing the test, must work three (3) apprentice ("shadow") sessions and submit the Referee sign-off on cover sheet to the CSL Certification Manager.
